Upon graduating from dental school in Brazil, Dr. Buechele had the opportunity to treat patients who couldn’t normally afford dental care, working as a general dentist near his hometown of Florianopolis. While attending dental school at Boston University, he assisted with teaching and research while continuing his volunteer efforts.
In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking. He also loves traveling and spending time with his wife.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Carney enjoys hiking and exercising and is a fan of the New England Patriots.

Dr. Carney was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain in 1999 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain in 2002. He is an active member of the American Orthodontic Society.
